Starting with Palm Sunday (having survived with only minor loss of some limbs) he follows the crowd, blending into the background, watching as the events through Holy Week unfurl from the triumphant entry into Jerusalem, to Jesus being nailed on the cross and being buried in the tomb. Was that really the end or could there be more to it than that?

The presentation works from Palm Sunday through to Easter Monday with each prop hidden in a velvet bag in the top trunk of the puppet, these are then drawn out and given to the children to open when the next part of the story is reached.
Peter Palm Tree Puppet measures approx. 45cm tall (55cm including his leaves) and features high quality fleece covered foam with tall green palm leaves which can be bent into position and for easy storage. Includes a gripped Creative Production, easy to use, mouth plate and long black sleeve from the back of the puppet to hide the puppeteer's arm. Mini chocolate eggs are individually wrapped in gold foil and are available in quantities of 25, 50, 75 or 150. Also included are precut handout sheets for each egg with a summary of the message. The script included is written in two formats:
1) Whispering Technique (only one person needed)
This script has your spoken lines and the puppet's actions, so can be performed by one person with the puppet on their arm without the need for a puppet theatre. Ideal for when using with smaller groups.
2) Two Characters (two people needed)
This script has two separate spoken parts designed for one person to operate Peter the Palm Tree within the puppet theatre and another person out front interacting with him. May also be used with two puppets behind the puppet stage.
Also included is a summary of the message for a quicker presentation if needed. The exact colour tones may differ slightly to those shown on screen, props are not shown to scale with each other.
